I well thought it was that too. His hair was smarter... couldn't spot the hole in the bottom of the lowden, but then I hardly ever see it... has it been fixed maybe? Guitar was downtuned, pegs were still the banjo pegs....fruit based laptop was there.... sure it was the same pedal set up as last time, although I think that was different from the instore gig in St Helens.... think it was the same microphone (I am that sad, I did look! lol).....
New Lowden, no mousehole That's the one he was playing at Birkenhead, it's smaller as well. Though I'm very happy to see the mousehole-den is immortalized on the album cover :wink: He probably wouldn't leave the new one in the snow LOL. OMG. Can't believe it - all the signs were there! I remember looking at the guitar and thinking it looked small, and I also remember wondering if it was actually the lowden in the snow or whether it was a cunningly doctored picture... I'm so silly. Thanks Paula! :blushing: and I only noticed the hair cause I pointed out to Danni that it was her job to do the fashion report!
The guitar was very kindly given to Nick by the aforementioned (in Masque thread) Brian Dunn last year. Can't believe no one spotted it earlier...although admittedly, there have only been a few dates so far. I thought maybe Paul would have done at Cambridge and was waiting for him to say.
I wondered why no string changes, now I know why? :m8: :biggrin: (I also noticed that the old Lowden on the new album cover...has a broken string!)
