Bring it on
IT'S TONIIIGHT! Spring forward.
Here we go again.
Body all out of kilter with nature.
Roll on autumn.
Rumspringa Forward! Something's A-mish...
Didn't you hear? We now do it in March over here. Of course, my Vid players changed AGAIN this last weekend...
That time is upon us again! Wonder if they will change it next year...?
Now my system can get back to natural normal without the nonsense of BST.
Permanent GMT, that's what I want.
They are U.S.?
Well, we here in America kind of stuck it to the world when we pushed back the FALL date again a few years ago. Of course it had NOTHING to do with giving trick-or-treaters an extra hour of sunlight...
Wonder what the EU will do if we/U.S. try to give our Thanksgiving revelers an extra hour of sunlight? I hope you all like Turkey!
The Music is Reversible, But TIME is not. Turn Back... ('ELO, 'ELO!)
We have BS Time in America too. Whenever Congress is in session!
Unnecessarily plunged into the gloom once more....
Here we go again - Spring is coming in at 1am!
Oh bugger. Here we go again. My internal clocks and system will now be completely out of joint until common sense prevails in the Autumn.
Tonight's the night!
Oh indeed. I feel much better already. Body synchronised with world activity. Wonderful.
I can imagine Linn being a wicked speaking clock with her voice! At the first stroke.... :>
That sounds pervy!! :beatdeadhorse5:
Hence the :> !
Bah! here we go again - I wonder if Scottish independence will allow us Southerners to exist in a little more daylight in the future? They can have independence and their own time zone! Perfect!
Rubbery Masks, salted nuts, and battery changes
Here in the U.S. we haven't changed the weekend AGAIN for falling back in at least a few years, but we're still waiting until NEXT weekend. (What next? Wait until after the November elections to Fall Back?)
We're also supposed to change the batteries in our smoke and carbon monoxide detectors (probably from all the Halloween candy residue :wink
BTW, here in Chicago they're warning of 60 mph winds with lakeshore flooding from Hurricane/Tropical Storm Sandy, even though Lake Michigan is at its lowest level in almost 50 years.
Don't forget: Easter Saturday/Sunday adjust your clocks - Spring is officially here! Though given the weather, you'd never guess!
And repeat until sanity returns
I have said it before and I shall say it again: my bodily system is thus condemned to be out of kilter with the world around me until normality is restored this autumn.
I hate BST.
Bring on October.
