Glad to hear Roy will be touring again, even if limited. How can I possibly get him to come to Chicago? Blues at Buddy Guy’s “Legends” blues club in chi-town? A set of Roy’s “Blues” songs with special guests? Of course I’m dreaming! Who do I bribe to make this happen? Tracy, I’m talking to you. PM me! In spite of Illinois governments’ (something over 40,000 units of govt in Illinois) we still support music. Even my home town held its second annual FREE music festival last month (see “Val’s List” for organizer). ZZ Ward, of Oregon, and “Put It Down” fame gave a phenomenal closing act (hot blues and she’s not so bad either). I’ll even play my tribute to Roy (I’ve posted the lyrics here, just no band to record it with), “What’s ODE Roy Harper.” And its NINE minutes long (almost Roy’s average).
