Jesusmas, JesusTime, Geez-U.S. Well, Linn, We had the usual Candlelight Dinner out with most of the family in town before XMAS. But just my MOM and me in town for the actual day this year. (Our smallest XMAS day ever!) Music, shoveling snow, turning to winter projects -- and wondering how much in new taxes I'll pay to continue being denied coverage for a pre-existing condition that wasn't pre-existing when I turned thirteen and was covered by my parent's insurance by the insurance company my Dad retired from after working in a job that didn't yet pay obscene wages. If both Houses of the U.S. Congress (means the same as anti-progress!) ever pass the same health care bill, I fear it will divide this nation as government has never been known for competent management. They've sold all our consumer protections to the highest bidder in my lifetime, and waste 50 cent of every dollar on their private orgies. (In truth, if Congress does health care right, it will take longer to plan, and would fix many of the other consumer ills I complain about and then actually SAVE money and be a GOOD idea. So far, however, it's a failure, and will triple paperwork and bureaucracy in our lives) Oh well, enough ranting. It's Christmas, and the reindeer are pooping on the roof! I think I was saving up that rant since I haven't been on the forum in a couple weeks. Sorry... This forum wasn't meant for politics:wink:
