http://honeyfestuk.com Little festie here on April 14 2012, which is also featuring Dry The River (who are ace). The location is still ssshhh secret wink but ‘Locals’ can purchase tickets from The Barge Inn at £30 http://www.the-barge-inn.com/index.php or from: http://www.ticketweb.co.uk/user?int...y=detail&event=478771&referral_id=tw_uk_buyat
On closer examination.... I think that info may refer to last years festival, the linked page from the pub page is all about last year, & Damien Rice definitely played it last year. The only gig listed on his site is in Seoul. I have been monitoring mr Rice, as Gill would really like to see him live. Unfortunately he's not in the mood for touring. The official Honeyfest site has tickets available, and lineup still to be confirmed. http://www.festivalsforall.com/festival/honeyfest-2012
Amended! As you were, everyone  They set up another site for this year - as per head of first post here - and confusion reigned. I am probs covering it and have stuff on an email. So will update when not embargoed. Good spot, Pete! Dry The River ARE there though.
Line-up DAMON ALBARN DRY THE RIVER NICK HARPER RAGHU DIXIT CUT-A-SHINE KIDNAP ALICE RAE MORRIS BBC INTRODUCING STAGE 12 noon - 10pm £39 + booking fee
Anyone having trouble purchasing tickets through the website please call 08444 77 1000 or email info@Honeyfestuk .com
Name change - apparently a bit of confusion with another event... at least they only had to slightly edit the logo  http://onefestuk.com/
I'd love to know why some festivals do this - if you are the kind of person that needs to make transport arrangements, then this doesn't make life any easier ?! It says on here http://onefestuk.com/?page_id=35 that once you have booked your ticket, you can click on a link and enter a code to see where the festival is - well obviously the secret is already out, cos all that tosh about a code has just been replaced with a google map, pointing to http://www.rockleymanor.com Now just got to decide if I want to pay £44 to go and see Nick ( and loads of other acts that I've never heard of ) or go to IMHO one of the worst venues in the UK ( Railway Arms in Winchester ) to see TWO Chuck Prophet gigs at £15 a pop !??!
Well I'd probably go OneFest, not just obviously for Nick but for Damon All-Bran (I still like Blur enough to be intrigued - feel free to tell me he's shiz after you go  ), plus everyone keeps saying Dry the River are the best thing ever, well this week anyway... That said I haven't seen Chuck Prophet yet and would like to, must look up Scottish dates  (and with any luck I'll be watching this in St. Andrews that weekend anyway - http://www.eotdfestival.com/ )
If you don't already have tickets, why not enter this easy-peasy competition to win a pair! http://www.essentialtravel.co.uk/blog/win-tickets-one-fest.html
It certainly is an easy-peasy competition ... but it's also a spammers delight ... yeah just publicly put down your email address in this box, so any Tom, Dick or Harry can pick it up - erm no thanks !!
Looks like you weren't the only one who thought that was daft, Chris - they've moderated all the posts, presumably to remove emails
Cool, John Robb is now a Harpic fan  http://louderthanwar.com/onefest-first-festival-of-the-summer-featuring-damon-albarn-live-review/ Oh I did get a review from my friend Baz, who said Damon All-Bran was "pretentious old toss", which amused me no end
