Those who heard Nick's interview with Paul on the podcast will already be aware that Nick stated himself that the Levellers had asked him to join them at the Royal Albert Hall this year. Since I have now put out publicly in an interview with Mark from the Levellers that they will be doing this in September, I am sure you will all be putting 2 + 2 together anyway! I have, however, decided to hold on the actual date. Just simply because although I did the interview as a journo, it took place with a friend. And out of respect to the Levellers, and to Nick, I'd like to let them have the kudos of choosing when to let it go. http://www.altnation.com/forums/pun...-mark-chadwick-comes-up-from-underground.html
The albert hall eh? That's nice. I'd heard it was full of holes. That's what the beatles said anyway... About time nick played there (again)!
Nick's upwardly marketable! Hey this guy's going someplace at last and we'll ride the gravy train with him shotgun style! andi:thumbup1:
It's certainly going to be a night/morning to remember, methinks! Only wish we didn't have to wait so long...but all good things I suppose.
The only thing i've got to do is figure out how to get sarah there! She has put her foot down and said she's only doing 1 gig a year and she's already done 3... With a possible over summer too it's not looking good. But it's the royal albert hall i shall say and it'll all be good. Maybe. But yay anyway!
Have you sent william and harry an invite? They'd love the levellers and nick. The bohemian parents line would probably appeal to harry certainly. Dunno if they deserve guest list though. They can afford it. Lol.
Well tell her you're taking her to see the Levs, and plead ignorance when Harper comes on I know where you're coming from though, Big D said does he have to come tomorrow as he's seen Nick over 50 times (he counted :w00t: ) - I told him he was an amateur
Well yeah obviously - You and I could do that in a tour. Maybe that's a good idea not telling Sarah. I think I could sweeten the deal by taking her to see a show and shopping. I can't really complain though. She likes Nick, but she's not obsessive like I am, so I think I've done quite well anyway.
Royal Albert Hall New pub quiz question eh? Which quite famous musician played at the Albert Hall in a supporting role in 2007 and now his son is going to play there in 2008? Good PR promo perhaps in the media?? chrs andi
Critch, If you are planning a trip down to the RAH gig then let me know. I'm up for a trip to London Us northerners gotta stick together. Craig
*bites hand* i really wanna go, but have 3 weekend breaks planned on my own and with 5 kids, people arent that keen to babysit :bored: i want to join critch with annoying people with our hats!
I realy fancy this, plus its my birthday in September so it could be my treat:biggrin:. I know what you mean about the babysitting fickle_which, and Ive only got three. mine are a bit older now though so I can trust them alone for a gig now but not a weekend.
