Peru time zone: -6hrs BST (so probably means we'll have to be up for an early breakfast to read the 'Daily Llama' news! rather than the late night blogs we stayed up for from Everest) Weather in Lima for next week, 66-77F with some showers.
The Peru Rocks site is temporarily down. Service will be resumed as soon as. As MySpace Tom always says: don't mail, just sit it out!
Message facility now up and running. Note that messages are all publically displayed - so no swearing, haha! No Day 1 report as yet...
If you are on MySpace or any other site or forum, could you please spread the following in comments, blogs, posts, bulletins etc.: PERU HAS STARTED TO ROCK! www.perurocks.org The Peru Rocks blog at my myspace below can also be emailed to anyone. Let's blitz the net and world! Marcie, would you have time to do something for Virgin/Absolute? Don't forget to message everyone over in Peru - 37 messages when I last looked and it's hardly begun.
Cheers, folks! It feels a bit quiet on here this time, or is it just me and that things haven't really got going yet in Peru? I miss not having Katrina and Jules around to get excited with...
Nick and Katrina both spotted in yesterday's podcast, so they both made it safely - YAAAAY  http://www.perurocks.org/journal/oct8/ Totally moving, I have a feeling it will just get more and more so...
Live news up on Music News, courtesy of the lovely Marco! http://www.music-news.com/ShowNews.asp?nItemID=21590 PLEASE ALL....try and get as much news out there (friends, foes, online, on digital, on BBC radio, whatever - I'm not fussy!). Copy PERU HAS STARTED TO ROCK! www.perurocks.org around to everywhere and ask those you're sending to to pass on. Copy the news release and send to anywhere you can think of! Let's do our bit for the boys (and girls) on the front.
When's that then? What's your national insurance number? I need this to update my records of who I'm dealing with? Have you got any ID? andi [on an identity theft mission :leaving: ]
Yeah!!!! Cheeky girl or a potential member of them! I did not do Snowdon cos of my bad foot which Ian Cropton and my latent, erstwhile chiropodist will vouch for. And, furthermore I can't do Peru which my ex-mum's solicitors will likwise vouch for. How many vouchers do you need? See you up Snowdon 2009, that's a promise, with a guitar as well. I did though send Snowdon 2008 £50 as a gift from a £100 giro so I am definitely going to Harper heaven mate! Also intend contributing to the Peru campaign when funds allow....cheers andipandishly
