![]() Had a nice bit of news today, I managed to win an LP I was bidding for on eBay last night. Said LP was In Between Every Line according to the seller it has apparently only been played once, the person who was selling it reveiwed records for magazines and so I'm guessing he isn't a Roy Harper fan :).
Should hopefully receive the LP next week and I can give it a proper listen. I don't have this LP in my collection other than a tape of a tape (cassette) recording from my pal James who first introduced me to Roy. I may buy a CD copy as well but at the moment I'm pretty disappointed with CDs having recently got into listening to vinyl much more lately, this being due to my kids growing up and moving on and therefore the arm of the record player doesn't bounce to the not so gentle patter of tiny feet. This last week has been rather successeful on eBay as I also managed to get a copy of Jethro Tulls album "Stand Up" (gatefold with pop up artwork of the band "Standing Up"... genius) and also a copy of Arlo Guthrie's first album "Alice's Kitchen". I decided not to go for Sabbath's first album (also on eBay) as it looked like it was going to go for quite a few baw bees and I had used up my monthly record buying allowance having also bought Stormcock and BBC Tapes as well the previous month which had actually eaten into this month's budget, pah it's only money after all.

If you wanna portray yourself stercoraceously that is entiely your sweet prerogative sunshine. Keep on biking!! Just buy some mudguards, or don't get too close to the cyclist infront on a muddy/rainy day, or refrain from falling off when you hit the gravel and/or muddy ditch when you didn't clean your visor and the sun blinded you!!
Know what I mean ?
aw
stercoraceously??
You got me stumped there boy, what the pooh does stercoraceously mean?
Anyhoo my muddy appearance is due in fact to r@nning (pardon I for swearing) on a reunion Hash with the lovely folks that either used to or still run with the Bahrain Hash.
But I hear what you say about mudguards and such :) In fact these days I mostly ride with mudguards as I hardly ever race, ten years of 20 - 25 hours a week on a bike were enough for me.
Luckily I discovered a social life since then and packed in my single minded ways :)
