The Nick Harper Special

Warning: contains some swearing!
Welcome to this special "Nick Harper" podcast. Shownotes are available at my blog. Includes interviews with Nick Harper, Chris Moxon and Paula Cuccurullo, along with plenty of Nick's music. It's a perfect introduction if you haven't heard his music before, and people that are already familiar with Nick should enjoy the interviews.

Well Done!

Thanks so much for bringing this special to us, Paul. It was, hands down, the best interview I've heard with Nick to date.

Loved hearing Chris and Paula talking about their experiences as well.

Very enjoyable podcast all round!

Best,
Marcie

Nick Harper Special Podcast

Simple; lovely.

Blue Sky Thinking singing while the rain threatened and then eventually fell was a highlight.

lovely podcast

thanks for the continuing work on the podcasts.. huge fan of Roy.. and now hearing some of Nick's work, im enthusiastic to hear some more.. really enjoyed it.. im sure you dislike recommendations.. but do you listen much to john frusciante's solo work. personally ive never heard someone with more passion and genuis in songwriting. check it out if you get the time.. i think most who enjoy the genuis of roy and nick will relate to the genuis of frusciante... i hope you enjoy it.. adios

Great intro' for Harpic virgins and good call to kick off with 'Riverside', it's an exemplary performance and should grab newcomers by the booboos - as it were. Big Chris' reminiscences and personal view were highly entertaining and yeah, Double Life as a starting point for sure. The interview with Nick had some fascinating insights, funny, honest, revealing and very much Nick. I can see the problem with downloads versus CD manufacturing costs and I'm with you, Paul, on liking to have some physical artwork, but then if it's the more viable option in the future...maybe there could be that thing of all the fans putting their names down for a CD and stumping up an advance...dunno. Most succinctly put with regards to the music industry being 'a complete lumbering wreck'. Ah, the fabulously irrepressible Paula – must be the most travelled of Nick's fans, wonder of she gets 'Harpic-miles'? We need more people like her as Nick's 'Stormtroopers' spreading the word and keeping his profile high. Can't wait to see Nick in Brighton in February. TTFN Dave
