Nick has started his 2008 "Dig on Down" tour and as I write this he did the first performance last night (Jan 31) at Mr Kyps in Poole. The tour goes through to mid-March so there is plenty of opportunity for those that live in the UK to see him.
If you haven't seen Nick live, you owe it to yourself to go and see him if you can. His gigs are astounding; he has a massive stage presence, great sense of humour, and a guitar style that makes other musicians green with envy.

Nick in Norwich
First of all I'm new at this lark, so hope it reads well and no spell checker...I saw Nick in Norwich two days ago, my first Nick gig, and it was excellent !!
Praise first of all to the support guy, do see him tonight in Cambridge, as Stuart Masters could have a great future, enjoyed his "loops" esp. [Did make a wonderful entrance on to the stage, bowing an acoustic guitar to start his first loop]
To Nick, those of you who have not been to Norwich Arts Center, it is small, acoustically excellent, [an old chapel], and is interment. He played two sets, having to finish at 11p.m., but what a great time we had, even dealing with a drunk heckler from the stage. Highlights were his banter, esp. re his trip to Everest, social comments on how "lucky" we are in the U.K. re services we have. Song wise, and as new, can not remmber/know all the songs, Aeroplane and Guitarman for the fun side, Evo and a song of Treasure Island for social comment, Simple, Blue Sky..., and Love is Music for sheer brillance. During one number observed the string changing, majic to watch !!
Finally liked the way he had time for all his fans, and first timers like me, to chat to us, have photos taken, etc. Will be an expensive time to catch up on his back catalouge !!
