Int. corridor. Day One. Morning. Location.

Helen walks along the school corridor, talking to us. [cam]

HELEN   See? Ten minutes and they're yours for life. A couple might be in therapy for life, but- well - you can't win them all

She passes the library door where we can see two excited children telling a third.

CHILD 1   The bogey man just carried him off

CHILD 2   And he was huge, ten feet tall!

HELEN   [To cam] Ah. Sweet! Oh by the way, I should point out, he's not really a bogeyman. He's my cousin from Leicester. And the boy he carried off wasn't really a pupil. He's my nephew. I mention this because a teacher I know got hold of the wrong stick and had one of her own pupils abducted. Very unfortunate. She's now working in Tescos, and her bogeyman's on the sex offenders register. Which I personally think is a bit harsh.

Simon comes up.

SIMON   Miss Milton. One million,one hundred and tweenty six thousand, nine hundred and thirteen.

HELEN   Excellent. And now divide that by the number of mats in the gym. See if you get the same answer as me.

He runs off. We're at the door marked "Staffroom".

HELEN   This is the staffroom

[Suddenly leans into the camera] They're mad!

She opens the door and :
