"All You Need is What You Have" is a tribute to the genius songcrafting and unwavering uncompromising individualism of Roy Harper, curated by Laurel Canyon Folk troubador and longtime Harper fan Jonathan Wilson. This collection features Roy admirers such as Chris Robinson (The Black Crowes) , Gary Louris (The Jayhawks) , Scottish/Virginian folkrocker Johnathan Rice , Eric Johnson (The Fruitbats, The Shins), Indie songwriting Wunderkind Benji Hughes, and more. The Collection is not finished as of yet, Wilson is waiting on several artists to turn in their tracks, and he is also approaching artists now to round out the tribute and release with a like-minded label in '09.

I have listened to the tracks available on the site and they are fantastic. This is a wonderful project, with very fresh versions of old Roy favourites. I think every Roy fan will want to buy a copy when the final release is done (let's keep our fingers crossed that it gets a proper CD release) and anyone with a myspace account will want to contact the project and wish them well.
