Paul - I got a friend request via this forum, but I want to reject it (!) ... but when I select reject/save it ignores the fact that I rejected it ?!?

ASP - don't take it personally, that I want to reject your friend invitation - it's just I don't see the point in the friends part of this forum !? Also I usually get on with you more in person than I do via this forum !!

Maybe you have javascript turned off on your browser. Is there a different browser you can try with please?

It turned out to be user error ( or bad usability ? ) ... basically I was selecting the reject option and then hitting save .... but I should also have clicked the checked box in the top right of the screen ... did that ( using good old IE ) and it worked ... me and andy are officially not friends ( on this forum ) !!

I'm not kinda sure about the friends thing on here, either; the point of it. Do people still use it? I think we communicate more on the actual forum, and now the Chatbox too seems to be utilised for brief words.

Yes, I agree. It came with a recent update to the forum software I used so I enabled it without really thinking about it. But if people generally think it's of little use, I can take it away - I'm all for keeping things simple. Does anybody object? Let me know in the next couple of days if you want to keep it :)

I don't see much point in it either.

Ha! If I took things personally on here from all the flak surrounding I would have left a long time ago! Under the Harper umbrella sheltering from the storm out there. Must blog my recent Welsh charity trip soon whilst still fresh in the old memory.
