Has anyone got anything good/bad/indifferent to say about this kit ?

Nothing particular to say about it other than it looks good - handles uncompressed (WAV). I actually have a Zoom H2 (http://www.zoom.co.jp/english/products/h2/) for on location podcast purposes, but unfortunately the first unit I got failed after a couple of days and I'm waiting for the replacement to arrive (from the USA, since I'm a cheapskate and took advantage of the exchange rate). The recordings I did get out of it were superb but it's quite "plasticy" in feel. A recent podcast interview (that will appear soon) was done on a cheapo Olympus dictator thing and the quality of that is horrible by comparison.
