Podcast 26

Hi folks

I published podcast 26 this morning. It's got an old-but-good interview with Roy from 1994. I've also announced my intention to stop doing podcasts monthly soon, as it's quite hard to keep the momentum up now with a bit of a dearth of good interviewees and of course the man himself being in semi-retirement. I've been criticised for things going too off-topic. The idea is to do podcasts as-and-when I have material ready, so it might be every couple of months or maybe every quarter. I'm also very, very busy at the moment with some work changes coming and other stuff. Nothing bad, but very time-consuming.

I didn't mention it on the podcast but I gather that Colin Coates had no takers for his charity sale of his spare beyond the door DVD. If you are interested in this please email him at celtcoates@btinternet.com

Well he's definitely up for another one at any time. I wanted to wait until a new recording was out, then we can use that as the focal point.

I corresponded with Dave a while ago now, and told him how much I'd enjoyed the interviews and articles on his website, if anyone hasn't visited his site, then it's well worth a visit, it's a real Roy Harper treasure trove. I had read this interview, so it was great to hear it "in the flesh" as it were, loved Roy's impression of Keith Moon, explaining the "chemically engineered evening" that was in store for him. "Take those 2 right now, and that'll put you in an upward direction" Classic! :biggrin: Thanks for that Paul & of course Dave & Sue Burnham. Great choice of music too, loved the Matt Churchill intro, Elizabeth, MCP Blues, and You Don't Need Money, it can't really get any better than this Paul, can it?
