Hi kat! Glad you made the journey over here! How're things going at the lhs foundation?

Helloo critch.... Foundation is going great - we've just about to present the first lot of cheques and in the first year we've got about £40,000+ which is absolutely fantastic.
I would also like to say a huge thank you to Nick H and all you guys for making this possible. Thanks for the latest tour collection - its very humbling to have all your support.
We're currently planning the 2008 adventures and I would very much love you all to take part and follow us on own journey. I'm also going to be shortly launching a mailing list which will help spread the world. Will let you know when that is up and running.
Nice to be back here.
Love and hugs

Colchester, Norwich or Cambridge! Like I said to you, he doesn't appear for ages and then he's everywhere (vis-a-vis East Anglia)!
Well, Nick's on for Macchu Piccu - is Kylie?!?!

I smell a christmas 2008 no 1... Maybe. :)

I'll switch the key search words on my google alerts to include Macchu Piccu and the like. Be interesting as to what will come up.
And a hearty welcome to Katrina.. good to hear everything's going well at LHS headquarters!

Now don't forget younger sister danni! She'd still be quite a pull* (!)
*In more ways than one! :)
Dannii is, from my middle-aged gentleman's perspective, much more attractive than her sister. Also she's got a lot more going on up top.
* I mean her brain of course

And that's exactly what you need when you're going up a mountain - a bit of intellectual conversation and a good pair of lungs!

Okay! Just found the info on the other forum thread! Thanks!
Obviously will have to give up smoking ****e, get fit, or get the train up there!
Llanberis Pass was when I gave up rock climbing for good... stuck about 300 feet up a narrow steeply sloping rocky shelf on Capel Currig, with no ropes, on my own, seven in the morning, no one knew I was there as they were all still asleep in the tent, when a storm came down the valley and I absolutely froze with fear for God knows how long; all I could envision was my head smashing on the rocks below. To this day I don't really remember how I got off that mountain five hours later in total fog and just grabbing rocks and clumps of grass in a blind sort of panic. So there is definitely truth in those mountains! Don't go unprepared!

See the other thread, girlfriend - I'm only doing it with backup
We (Big D and I) have a pilgrimage to see My Bloody Valentine in Manchester the weekend after Snowdon so I'd guess I'm not allowed to die until after then, he'd pass up the funeral for the gig and I wouldn't blame him...
And do I see potential Peru Rocks dates sent out from the US site? :w00t:

Good girl!! I climbed it with a bad back last year - we take it easy. Have a break at half way cafe for a cup of tea, few songs by Mike and then go up to the top. The top now has a cafe so you can stop for a tea there and go down and have some fun.....
Anyone else.
Paula I'll email you the details and your in lol xxxx

I have to say Kat, I'm confused by the blurb! How much does one have to raise to be eligiable for the trip up snowdon?
katrina

The total sponsorship is minimum of £200 - with a £100 registeration fee which is included in the total minimum sponsor amount.
Is that okay - registeration fee £100
final sponsor amount to collect £100+
Total £200+
easy peasey :D
plus bring some biscuits
