Hi everyone,
I am new to the forum, which I found about about through Paul's podcasts. Have been a bit out of touch with all things Harper since moving to Canada a few years back, so it's been lovely to reconnect with the music and news lately (thanks Paul). Prompted me to dust off the old vinyl too...I wonder where I put those old copies of Hors D'oeuvres though?
I was a regular gig goer from around 1985 - 1996 mostly in the NW England and London - good times. Sounds like the chances to see Roy live may be few these days, but what great memories (some clearer than others...)
Hope all is well in Blighty. We are in the middle of a winter blizzard here in Calgary.
Cheers,
Jez
PS. I was just leafing through the December 2009 issue of Q and noticed that Stormcock featured under the "Lost Treasure" column (p. 137). Johnny Marr and some guy from Fleet Foxes are fans it seems.
