Love Hope Strength - the general thread (other than gigs or treks!)

Hi all, just thought it would be good to have a general space for Love Hope Strength (LHS) news and photos... spurred on by seeing that Nick, Glenn, Mike Peters and our very own boardie Kat (see blonde hair at back!) were at the Houses of Parliament with the LHS crew this week :biggrin:

Apparently LHS is working with the UK government and the Anthony Nolan Trust to make bone marrow testing/matching easier here (like it is in the States - using mouth swabs rather than taking blood). Sounds very positive - well done you lot!

Is that Suzanne in front of Kat ? If so, glad to see she is still around ... haven't seen ( in real life or photo ) her in years .... and obviously if that is NOT her, then it'll be even longer until I see her again !!

Well spotted Chris - indeed that's Suzanne (Hunt, Glenn's manager/partner and Nick's former manager) :biggrin:

But Kat's on the other side - she's the curly blonde hair you can JUST see :wink:

Evening Everyone

That was a fantastic day at parliament and we have had several visits now and are hoping to change the donor policy in the UK. We are moving rapidly forward and are now working in partnership with Anthony Nolan. I am right at the back - you can just see a glimpse of my hair :)

We are currently revamping our website and have a new twitter and facebook coming shortly - will post details here. xxxx
