Comment on Twitter about Roy:

"Sometimes I think that Thom Yorke is the Roy Harper of my generation."

Who said that?

Someone by the name of Graeme Ferris.

Never heard of him. I don't see the connection either :confused1:

Hmmmm, something to think about :D. Have you got yourself down there yet? I might manage a trip East next month if I'm lucky....

Yeah me and a couple of mates are making a day and night of it on Saturday 13th March ... let's see what Bexhill's night life has to offer out of season !!

I would say probably not a lot! I stand to be corrected though. I remember my gran used to go there for a quiet weekend...

Great quote from Nick last night in Leeds about David Cameron! Put Nick in the Twitter search and you should find, as someone tweeted it.

Can anybody give me a direct and open link to the David Cameron quote, so that I can direct like-minded friends to it, who might then also become intrigued enouugh by Our Man to listen to some of his music?

A link would be far more effective than just the exact words, which I have read, but now can't find where.

Ta ever so.

Dodgiest Google search I may ever have contemplated, but I got away with something much milder at work ;)

Thanks for looking. Mrs WS was sitting next to me, so I didn't dare Google it at the time. The quotation is now circling my globe of friends - all 2 of them.

It was not an original NH, Steve. He got it from a friend but is kind of making it his own and it will no doubt follow him around now!

It's a funny line alright, but please please tell me Nick isn't a GB fan....

Come to that (pardon the phrase), what does GB resemble?

Gordon Brown, texture like sun...
Lays me down, with my cash he runs
Throughout the night, no need to fight,
Never a frown with Gordon Brown

(no, I suspect not haha)
