Went to see Michael Chapman the other night down here in Cornwall. Another great survivor of a certain age. He was born in 1941 like Roy. He gets better with age with his voice and guitar maturing like a fine old malt. He is supported on his latest round of gigs by the delightful Bridget St John. Those of you who remember her from her early 70s albums on John Peel's Dandelion label will know what I mean. Now a USA resident she is doing this short tour with MC. He is also doing solo gigs around the country throughout the summer, he is a great live act and check out his DVD "Journeyman-Live on the Tweed" (secretrecordslimited.com). Like Roy's Clonakilty DVD this is just like being there.
