Treasure Island

I have been listening to Treasure Island a fair bit since Christmas and I think I honestly prefer this to Miracles for beginners. It somehow seems more rounded. Tracks like Real Life and Bloom send shivers down my spine! Does anyone know what these two songs relate to?
