Hello, my name's Rob and I'm currently helping out my brother Jon Gomm (fan of Nick, indeed I saw them play together at, I believe, City Varieties in Leeds) by hopefully making some interested people aware of his new video.

I really hope some of you like it, and don’t mind me posting it on your forum!
By the way, the mp3 and full guitar tab of the song are available at http://jongomm.com/store
I’d love to know what people think of the track, and if there’s any replies on this thread I’ll send Jon over for a look (I'm setting up a bookmark folder of everywhere I visit so I can easily get back to them!).
Cheers,
Rob.

That's great! Have seen John live several times now and he's always well worth seeing - if any of you haven't yet do so soon!

Thanks Rob, love it! And he'll be playing the Voodoo Rooms in Edinburgh on Friday 14 October so I hope all Central Belt-ers here can make it - should be a fab night

Don't know if you all noticed - but Passionflower went a little viral. Over a million hits on Youtube and Jon has suddenly turned media whore, giving interviews to the right wing press.

or maybe he hasn't. Good lad stood up for his principles on BBC Breakfast:

Jon - I have no principles. If this gains more momentum everything you ever signed for me goes on ebay
Edit: Jon - if you read this, can you persuade Nick to record Radio Silence (as you both performed at Leeds Varieties a couple of years ago) with you and put that out as a single plus on youtube with proceeds to charity of your choice. At the time of writing AFAIK my recording of Titties and Beer is the most watched Nick Harper clip on Youtube with just under 40k hits. That needs to change. The world needs to see more of the genius that is NH :) :nopity::m8:

The snowball is rolling...
Fry just gave Gomm a mention on the One Show this evening and they played some of the video.
For those that don't know - Jon used to be a member over at the old Harperspace.co.uk forum. I saw the username here and failed to read it earlier, not realising that it was his brother Rob instead of him!

Jon is a real star, I'm so happy for him that he's had this attention, he really deserves it
But still... shall we all start sending links to Nick's stuff to Stephen Fry? :D

Jon's never slow to give Nick a shout out given the opportunity. Maybe he could send Stephen a link or two?
First time I spoke to Jon I told him that I'd seen him at a festival waiting for Nick Harper to play. Jon was positively gushing and told me that seeing Nick was one of the things that really shaped his performing style.
On Weather Machine he was being deliberately Harperesque, I believe.
