Do I recall someone - Paula? - having some (flyers) that anyone could download?
If there is a downloadable version, it would be very much appreciated - then I'll get out there into the depths of St Helens flyering like no one has ever flyered before!

Have taken above posts from other thread to separate here.
Anyone able to advise further on this?

Hi guys, I'm hoping that Dim can get another flyer together for this tour - have asked him about it. This is somewhat unofficial but it always looks good IMHO!
We didn't have generic ones but maybe that's an idea? I don't have a scanner but may have a blank tour poster. Is Nick updating his generic poster, Ms. PR?

I don't know if Pete here would have time - like NOW! - to rustle something up? You did offer your services, pc! If we have the template then individuals can run off copies themselves.

Let me know what you need. I can hopefully get some printed for Critch to distribute around the town & college of St Helens, & a generic version that I could upload for whoever needs it. Might be worth seeing if the munky can get some done if I send her artwork, & hit a few London places with them.

Flyers and posters as that which is up on Nick's Myspace - but naturally with the new tour dates on!
It would also be nice to have same for individual towns to do a single version with just the date and that venue's details, tickets etc.

I'm happy to do this, but are there any good recent pics of Nick we could use? all the ones on Myspace & Harperspace are like, so 2005. I don't want to use the same old ones again.

Sorry, Pete, not much option. The live shot was the latest. The trouble is, that despite getting images sent to me taken at gigs none have thus far had good enough composition and/or are of a quality able to reproduce at hi res. Anyone who can supply such will be honoured in the highest way!

I've no idea who has the original artworks - fal maybe? I would appreciate flyers though Pete when you get it sorted. Which reminds me...I have stuff to do don't I Ms PR?!

Yes, you do have jobs! Have you done 'em?!

I've just sent you a revised version on e-myther. If you can get back to me with yay or nay today, I'll send it in. Also...Photos? Do we have any to go with this? Do you have a good copy of the LHS one with over Nick's shoulder with the fish-eye effect on the mountains?

I'll have to get back to you on it tomorrow. I feel a little bit of tightening needed!
Images: attach link to Nick's gallery or attach direct. Ask Katrina about the LHS one. She may have a hi res.

I didn't want to take down the old one yet cos it looks so lovely :blushing:
BUT!
Dim's just sent a new web 'flyer' JPG with the new tour on (too many dates to fit on it but got all the towns and the start/end dates) *plus* a downloadable one (in A4 and A5, PDF and jpg) with specific dates so you can print and distribute to your heart's content!
I'll be putting it up at lunchtime and I'll link to it then
All hail good Sir Dim!

Apologies for the late arrival - hope you guys like, I think Dim's done a good job (especially fitting that many dates in haha)... anyway here's the web-sized flyer **no individual dates listed for space reasons, just tour start/end dates**:
http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff304/harperspice/springwebpic.jpg
And links (right click to save) for the A4 and A5 JPG versions **which have individual tour dates listed**:
A4:

A5:
http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff304/harperspice/spring08a5.jpg
The printable PDFs of the A4/A5 (for those who want to go that route) will go up on Nick's Myspace site today...
Circulate at will!

Doesn't have dates on? Is it just b/w?
Still wonder if we can get individual ones for some - probably not needed for all - venues with that venue's date, details, contact, tickets etc.
Pete - are you working on anything?:w00t:

Black and white, yeah, should be easier to print. And as I said earlier, if you look at the A4/A5 versions, they DO have the dates on, cos it was REALLY hard to fit them in a web ad that size!
If anyone wants to do flyers for individual gigs, please feel free, these aren't official or definitive, though I do think they're very cool

Paula explained that in her previous post! Too many to fit. The links below include all the dates. If Pete has one with the St H date on it only, then that'd be marvelous.

I'll have it uploaded by tomorrow (Friday) morning. I've got a version with all dates, & I'll do one with a space for specific venues, for if people want to download & overprint specific dates. Might try & get some printed up with all dates/St Helens date only (for Critch to distribute :-). Thoughts?

If you would. You can e-myther it to me if you wish (I think you have my address) and I'll get some printed, or if you have access to free printing then we could meet up somewhere sometime, though don't feel obliged to that. As Ms PR keeps telling me, you do so much already.

I am sure Pete thoroughly hates me by now - even though I offer him personal enticements - ha ha!

Planning to go and buy some tickets at the weekend or early next week anyway, so no problemo. Thought I'd get in early. This one's gonna sell out... (I hope!).
ok.. sorry its taken so long to get here... thought the forums where still dead..
to clarify... the webflyer has no dates cos there where too many... last novembers tour was hard enough to squeeze in, this time was impossible...
hence the seperate a4 ones
There is a venue specific flyer avaialble (its actually been done since before xmas :() as we have one done for exeter...
i can produce them if needed for any venue, in about five minutes...
just need:
venue name
address
door time
ticket cost
booking details (box office addy, phone or ticket agent)
support act
for whatever venue and can upload here as pdf...
as an example this is the exeter one (which matches the other flyers)
(i didnt want the exeter one out in the world until now cos it wasnt definate who the ticket office was till last week, and the ticket office dont get the tickets till saturday.. lol)
http://www.dim.741.com/_wp_generated/pp6692d260_1b.jpg
also.. reason they black and white cos they cheaper to photofloppy and look good on walls, lampposts etc... :D
if anyone going exeter please note tickets not available at exetertickets.co.uk they got probs at the moment and arnt selling them... :D
that was the old version of the flyer... :D
if anyone is in this neck of the woods exeter ticks go on sale saturday sometime (whenever i get to solo with them).. should be an amazing gig as its really intimate venue, and only 100 tickets (almost worth coming to devon for - ask paula.. shes been to kino - if she remembers it).. hopefully it will be in local paper next weekend so should sell out quick.. book your flights.. :D

Hey, cool beans!
Is it poss you could send to me as email attachment, and I can then check the venues whom I know haven't done their own and see if they want? Is this available for poster as well as flyer?
HarperPR@hotmail.co.uk
PS Anyone covering Exeter for live review for any of the online sites?
i think i understood that...?
I can email you a copy of the exeter one, but you will need to email me the details and i can produce em
(flyer is done in a desktop publishing package i use so not editable - like i say not massive job to change the dates from exeter)...
I produce em as PDF
1 x Full page a4
and
1 x A4 with 4 flyers on
the a4 one photocopies up to a3/a2 perfectly effectively..
the a4 with 4 flyers on can produce small flyers, or be blown up to a3 to produce a5 flyers
will email you in a bit.. will put in an excel sheet with columns on.. just chuck in the details and email back for ones needed, then i can just copy the info accross... then gimme till the weekend to chuck em online where you can get em...
Hey, cool beans!
PS Anyone covering Exeter for live review for any of the online sites?
not set anything up for online... getting a preview in local paper over next couple of weeks when i finish writing it...
online wise i can get steve to do a review (the way out man, bearded, roys a little past it, hippy, cool dude, from the dvd - hes a former english teacher, poet blah - he could do a great review and is going anyway)
for proper press review depends on if theres any guestie spots nearer the time.. venue is only 100 ticket, and sensibly only holds 120 really so its a bit of a tight fit.. will chat to mikey when he gets back from ny and mull it over

I can send as example to see who may want their own version of. Some venues have asked me for posters; obviously there are those who will get something of their own together.
Re review. Just anyone who could string decent copy for online somewhere.

Cool. A review in verse or as an odd ode might be a novel approach - haha! I will look at print media too, but not a brilliant part of the country for that.

I strolled past the Citadel earlier this week, they have Nick posters up at the front & side of the building.
My webspace has chosen this week to stop working, so I've had to resort to Imageshack.
click on the thumbnail or the links. You know how it works.
one with dates:
http://img175.imageshack.us/img175/2074/dateshq8.th.jpg (http://img175.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dateshq8.jpg)
one with blank space for info:
[img=http://img513.imageshack.us/img513/898/genericdd2.th.jpg] (http://img513.imageshack.us/my.php?image=genericdd2.jpg)
one for Critch:

Yeah, great from me too now I've seen it up close and personal on a computer!
Didn't know that was Moth's pic. Cool.
Will get back to you, Pete, by email when I hear back from the venues.
Cheers

i would recommend for venues the colour one cos its pretty colours... for flyering elsewhere, shops, poster places etc the b&w one cos its about 1/10th of the price to photofloppy...
critch... b&w is in mail, but all mine are here... http://www.dim.741.com/nickflyers.html
anyway so download if easier.... (all there now)

We need some help here.
Is there anyone else apart from Pete who has access to a printer and who would be able to run off some of Pete's posters - or A4 if we can't get bigger - with specific venue details printed on?
well i got a printer, but not sure what good that does... theres plenty of posters in exeter (well there will be over next few days)....
cant print in colour here though... well we can, but its too darned expensive.. not that we tight or owt... well, actually we are, tight as a ducks :D
??????????
(or do you mean printer as in man who prints... - still too expensive in colour... printers around here charge about 10x the amount for colour - and thats just 1 colour... :/).. ha ha... dims poor understanding of the english language strikes again... :D
i think im actually going mad... been a very very long monday, and still another 5 days of the week to go... :o webididee :/

If there are any of glossy A4 size posters that Pete has done floating around at the gigs, the ones with the blank space would be ideal for anyone wanting Nick to write a little message in, so that they could keep and frame afterwards as a memento.
So keep a look out for them. I am not sure if any will be around (?)
Well, I thought so anyway....

Just to say to Pete that I felt a little frisson of pleasure seeing the colour posters up in Brighton! Komedia ran off their own (larger than A4) and added their yellow 'Komedia' logo in the box. It looked really good.

see what a little creative editing can do?
mine look poo... it rained today and they are all looking a little soggy down here.... :D
theyre still up on the podiums after an entire week which is a new exeter record - people must like me, theyve left me alone, although im reliably informed im being pasted over on monday, but they are a little soggy...

My favourite topic!:D
I hate to bring this up so close on the last, but...there have been some requests. If anyone has some format ideas (pix we have), as it's a bit different this time, not being a tour but individual dates.
personally i would still do it as a tour style poster, as in, with all the dates... more publicity the better, and just having single venues on them only advertises the one.. (and is more work)... one covering all dates is easier and better advertising... can be updated ad hoc as more dates are added then...
