There's a vdgg thread here somewhere, but I can't find it. So I'll post here:
there are some VdGG gigs in the offing:
27 MAR 08 - Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester
29 MAR 08 - Teatro E. Solvay, Rosignano Marittimo (LI), Italy
31 MAR 08 - Melkweg, Amsterdam, Holland
02 APR 08 - Wulfrun Hall, Wolverhampton
03 APR 08 - Queen Elizabeth Hall, London
06 APR 08 - Gouveia Festival, Portugal
20 APR 08 - B1 Club, Moscow, Russia
New album, Trisector, will be out around the same time.
I already have a ticket for the QEH gig, but I'm eagerly awaiting the new album!
Regarding the gig, I was very annoyed to find that when the tickets initially went on sale, they were reserved for people that were supporters of the QEH, and when they finally opened up to the great unwashed, pretty much all the front stalls were gone. I ended up in row A of the rear stalls, which I hope is the raised bit, so I'll still have a good view. However, the word "tout" springs to mind.

As a member of the South Bank Centre, I object to the touting suggestion.
Sometimes joining these organisations is the only way to avoid touts.
I've signed up to a number of places, like the South Bank centre, and generally you get a good deal - as well as preferential booking for events at the festival hall, the queen liz hall and the purcell rooms (and NO booking fee), you also get free entry to the Hayward gallery and there's a members bar - I've not lowered the tone there yet.
As well as the Vdgg gig, there's also a rare outing for the top krautrock boy band Harmonia as part of the Ether festival
Now then , has anyone got any spares tickets ?
Wanna but some ?

exciting news! unfortunately theres no way i'll be able to attend any gigs this year but I look forward to the album. 9 songs with 5 of them under 5 minutes - sounds like they've made an album of pop songs
