Okay, those in lensville, I could do with some TOP QUALITY shots at Manc as well as all other dates!

Please remember that these must be good guality (no grainy mobile shots!), taken from close-up, and well composed - and hi res is crucial if we use in print.

I've some fairly decent Nick pix (from Oxford)- do you want me to send them, upload them, forget them, or what ? :confused1:

I think I am now photo-ed out, reviews wise! But if they're good ones, be nice to have a look. Thanks.

Very nice. Looks like the gig was reasonably well lit. I took some shots of Erik Mongrain at the Boardwalk last week and am regretting not having my camera for Mr Harper's show there. They came out very well. Critch and I both took our eyes off the ball for that one.

Amgard, they look pretty good - from my little phone at least. Will look at properly tomorrow when I get into office.

You were at the Carling then - did we meet?

I made the mistake of upping the ISO, and hence the grain - wish I had a digital SLR ;)

These are probably the best of the bunch I took at the Maze. They're a bit dark - maybe too grainy but feel free to use if you like. I've had a crack at restoring some detail and getting rid of the grain but I think they look less striking than the originals. Any opinions?

Originals are 2048 x 1536.

Edit: TBH, I think it's a lost cause. Was just too dark for my camera in there.

See what a difference good lighting makes to the same camera and photographer? I need to remember my camera more often...

Ah - I see

(but there are no holes in my collection.... as long as my friend returns 'double life' that is )
.... and now I won't see you on March 8th at Abingdon either :( ... oh well sometime else....

Crikey! Didn't realise that those photos would slow the page down so much and it's too late to edit the posts.

Can an admin get rid (for fear of upsetting those with download limits and dial-up etc)?

"An Admin"? You think this is some sort of professionally run outfit or something? There's only me :)

I don't actually think they need to go, do they? They seem fine here.

Paul.

Sorry Paul,

Forgot that it was just you. Generic term anyway - most messageboards I post at are run by volunteers.

I'm happy for them to be here if it doesn't cause anyone else an inconvenience.

Anyone with GOOD - more the better if good and a bit quirky and perhaps if taken off stage! - images from last 2 tours that you feel are usable (and wouldn't mind them being used so), please email to me as jpeg. No more than 4, please.

Am just now going through what I have been sent and sending best to Nick for his approval.

They ARE interesting, cheers, Amgard! It would be nice to see some equally good sans the black shirt! Well, I don't mean bare-chested - :D - just a different top half, for a change!
