Viewing pleasures.
Have to say I rarely turn on the telly these days, but who else is loving BBC's Mistresses? Something for all in that! Am also loving Honest on ITV. My favourite character is the Asian friend of Vin's, Reza - they could make a spin-off around him!

I'm not one for telly these days either Linn, I watch just 2 programmes a week, Tuesday evenings at 9pm I sit in the living room (another rare occurence lately) and watch CSI Vegas and CSI Miami, Horatio Kane has to be the coolest man on the planet his one liners are legendary!

er i am, me and steve spent 2 hours talking about piles the other evening!
saw grand designs last night, gods i love that show!
I don't watch much broadcast TV apart from news in the kitchen while cooking. However we watch a lot of downloaded American TV shows. Dexter was the latest great find, well worth a look. Also the usual suspects - Lost, Prison Break, 24, Battlestar Galactica etc. CSI (original series) is wonderful but Horatio in Miami is very annoying to me so I don't watch that much, and the New York series didn't "click" with me.
We are however looking forward to "Ashes to Ashes" as Life on Mars was wonderful. I'll be cutting that to DVD as well though, it's much more convenient to watch things on your own schedule.

I loved Dexter. Brilliant.
I also like Shameless (guilty pleasure but it makes me laff), Mighty Boosh, IT Crowd, & Match of the Day. :blushing:
Torchwood was OK but gone off a bit lately.
I've probably forgotten something.
Ashes to Ashes Tonight! Wahey!
Ah yes... Vicky rented some Shameless DVD the other week and I couldn't quite believe what I was watching. It seems to sum up the very worst about the UK very well indeed :)

Blimey. I didn't know you could get them designed.
Is this available on the NHS? I thought they came as a job lot and you had to put up with them.

Got the full box set of all 3 seasons of the new Battlestar Galactica for my burfday and I was well pleased - lovin' that show. I want to get into Dexter and Torchwood more (mmmm Barrowman - yes I know he's gay haha) but I don't have time! I've just put Brotherhood into our DVD rental queue - it's supposed to be great, a mob/family show set in Rhode Island (the puny state where much of my family is from!)... and I can't wait to watch Dave Gorman's tour of non-chain America from the other night.
Trying to keep on top of my budget so I'm watching It Pays to Watch which is really helpful. My real guilty pleasures at the moment :blushing: are Masterchef and Project Catwalk. And American soap operas - thank feck for Sky needing to fill lots of channels :blushing:
And may I just say that Sky Plus is the greatest invention since sliced bread and subsequently the toaster  I may watch too much TV but at least I can do it when I want to!

Loved Mistresses (proper girlie TV), enjoy Wild at Heart and Primevil with the family, repeats of Wire In The Blood as I never saw them all first time round and The People Watchers as I am currently studying Psychology I find both those programmes fascinating. That's about it as I cannot usually get near the telly for XBox or Wii paticipants - especially during half term!!
