Can't say I like Springsteen either; I mean, all that rolled up shirt sleeves, biceps, faded denims and working class hero claptrap.

But the knife in the chest must have been the last straw, for who knows what else?

Eeh, when we lived oop North, we had a neighbour who played 'Karma Chameleon' at high volume, over and over and over again. We and other neighbours could cheerfully have strung her from the nearest lamp-post.

We had the same problem with a neighbour who had Elton John on a loop (not around his neck unfortunately) day and night.

see i can stand springsteen, and if my taller half was opposed to it being on, i'd put roy on instead, he soon be asking for brused back ;)
i must say there have been far fewer remarks about my music since he invested in an ipod for me!!

What a fantastic invention the ipod is, perhaps if Mr.Watson had invested in one things might have turned out differently..
Years ago when Westlife were the latest craze I had the neighbours from hell living next door who thought I would like to listen to one of their latest no 1 offerings on full volume night and day. Eventually I snapped and told them that actually, playing Westlife that loud and often can make your nose bleed and your eyes swell up! :smash: Aahh Westlife fans - can't live next door to em, can't kill em! :biggrin:

As for "The Boss", musically speaking RH will always hold this title in my humble opinion!

i might kill if i had to listen to westlife (even with the irish thing and having to like them by default, it might be myself i would kill ;) )

i have to listen to no 1 sons tinny horrible phone playing rap and r'n'b, thats when the ipod goes on, altho there is a rule in this house, nothing is louder than a harper or a tull on pain of loosing legs :coolgleamA:
