An unusal topic for this site you may think, but wait a moment. The crooner from the badlands just outside St Helens (Newton le Willows or thereabouts)
features in this humourous site

anyone suggest anything similar for Harper Snr/Jnr songs ?

Thanks for that Dave. Graham Linehan is ace (Rick Astley not so much...) I haven't seen that site before. I love the IT Crowd & there's some good stuff on there from the horse's mouth as it were.* which I'll explore later.
*he's not really a horse.

Interesting note, Rick Astley was actually from Billinge, his parents owned Trebaron Garden Centre in Newton and everyone thought he came from there.
I did see him and Pete Waterman in the Shazaan once in Earlestown (my friends own it) and whilst I only met Rick Astley once I did go to Pete Watermans house quite a few times after that!
funny world in it.
As you where........

My dad wuz from billinge. Well not really, he moved there in his early teens from St Helens. Lived in a house that my granddad built. Still see it when I drive through, but it's changed a lot. They've done sort of a loft conversion and extension since. Wonder if they've found the motorbike that was buried in the back garden yet....?!
