A one hour programme on Sunday mornings on C5 (UK) so far has featured, in depth, Seth Lakeman and Kate Rusby. It's one artist per episode so plenty of time to tell an artist's story & lots of performance footage. I can't help thinking Nick would provide a very entertaining hour's worth of material although, as usual, I fear his profile & this weird TV aversion to the Harpers may work against him.
That's all!
Cheers

Even if they showed an edited 'Love is Music' that would be fantastic - I know a lot of people who are really into this series, I keep meaning to watch... :blushing:

There are several points to consider. The remit for this series was 'folk' artists. Nick, for many, does not fufill that criteria in the same way as does, say, Kate Rusby. It was also focused on artists who have taken inspiration from and write about the area in which they live. Okay, Nick has done Wiltshire Tale, but he is not known for being from that area in the same way that Seth Lakeman is for Dartmoor, for example.
There are one or two other points which I'm not going into, but if you feel Nick was overlooked, you could use some fan power and maybe drop Michael Proudfoot whose company produced the series a word!
