Got quite excited until I realised Nick is playing at Gillingham in Dorset not Gillingham in Kent. :(

Made that clearer, ta! Sorry it's the wrong one though...
Fantastic. But how can he be supporting the Levellers at Bowood when hes there on 14th and they 12th? Are you going to these Paula? I hope to get a few in.

I already have tickets for this no mention on them of Nick but its a great bonus:D. Anybody buying tickets if you check the Arley Hall website they gave a 10% reduction when buying ten or more tickets, maybee a few could get together

"Fri 12 Hobbs Farm Festival Lewes"
This one's looking good for me, since I'll be in the UK in September and we're based not 1/2 hour's drive from Lewes.
(Thanks for giving us the heads up, Paula!)

Mia, it is indeed the 12th, well spotted girl
And Marcie, so wish I could come to that one, but I'm being frugal, so not sure yet...

Paula, I'm looking at the one day pass tickets and they're 15 quid. Not sure what my financial situation is going to be like then, (because I will have just shipped my cats to the UK to begin their quarantine period), but I'll be looking at this one very seriously!

OOPS didn't realise you were talking about September! Think that might have been due to the mistaken date for the Levs? :(

Oh well... so he's not playing at all at the festival in Lewes? Perhaps on the second day? That would have been a perfect one for me.:(

Amen to that - I'm a firm believer in hope!!! I'll be following July and September dates very closely from here on in.

Likewise I thought it was the Kentish variety and was thinking of going to coordinate it with seeing some ancient Grammar school mates in touch on Friends Reunited. However Gillingham Dorset happens to be on the railway line from Basingstoke so apart from worrying about getting home late [camp in a local field?] may be able to make it. Seems a bit of a strange place to play methinks?

No stranger than a Newquay beach session. I have a feeling Ms Cruz will be along for that?! Did I not prophesy such on the other old forum that we could be in for this, a la Newton.:D
Hope everyone likes what's up and will be able to get along to at least one of the forthcoming shows.

Yeah he's also supposed to be playing at Harewood House ( between leeds and harogate ) with the Levs sometime soon .... great gig for any twitchers !!

Well if that's still to come, the Levs are doing Harewood on Saturday 9th August  no idea though!
Woweee harewood too! Not that I'll be able to make it. Hes getting very grand now. But where did it say he was supposed to be there, wouldnt he have put that in if the others with the Levellers are confirmed?
And as an afterthought do you think he'll do Northampton and Buxton too as a special guest? Just wondered.

But where did it say he was supposed to be there?
Well he told me at Cambridge that we was supposed to be playing a big stately home in Yorkshire with the Levs ... he first thought it was Hardwick Hall ... which IMHO is a cracking place ... apart from the fact that it's not actually in Yorkshire !! So then he thought again .... and came up with Harewood House

Wondering that myself, might make a weekend of it if I can get some cheap public transport
Wish he'd hurry up and say then! I noticed that there are no ticket sales for Nick at Gillingham so does that mean hes one of the freebies their site mentions playing during the day there? Might just tag along if so.

Did someone call me?
Where's Gillingham in Dorset? I'm in Southampton the day before for a wedding and have the monday off!
Do you think he didnt just forget the name but who he was on with. Girls Aloud are at harewood too on 29 Aug! Although someone did mention Nick could be doing something else about then but I'd better not start rumours!

Mia, I asked himself after the 'Olmfirth gig Friday night about Harewood and he said he won't be doing that. But he were a bit tiddly so I offer that as a disclaimer
(and if Girls Aloud will be there then he may show up LOL)

F it, we have to play some good sh*t like Singstar, we'll make Jay come along and get her pisht :thumbup1:
Saw on the gillingham fest that this gig is only 6 squid! Is that the cheapest ever. Strawbs are on same place same nite but dont think you get the two for £6.

No, probably not.:D But agree that a gig for the price of a packet of cigarettes does sound a good deal!
