Ooh wouldn't it be lovely to see Nick on this! Yes I know the total rating of this channel is probably 0.01% but hey I love it  Feel free to post your comments with mine!

"Sky Arts is back at the Guardian Hay Festival 2008 after a successful 10 days of high definition broadcasting from the festival in 2007. The Hay-on-Sky daily show with host Mariella Frostrup makes its return on Friday 23 May. Every day at 8pmwatch Sky Arts or Sky Arts HD for our exclusive Hay-on-Sky programme – packed as ever with the biggest names in the literary world as well as a whole host of A-list personalities…all joining Mariella in the rather swish Sky Arts studio tent. We’re really hoping the drumming rain stays away this year!..."

(figures, his bit isn't on the video clips!)

Happyhappyjoyjoy! shame I didn't see this in advance, but it does repeat like 1000 times a day so go find it NOW or before today's is on at 8 anyway

Problem is, I don't have anything to take it off me Sky+ box at the moment - I'm recorderless! - so I can't share it, but I'll lock it into my box until I can :D

edit to note: WOOF Mariella Frostrup is hawt, and that's from a straight woman *wolf whistle*

Sorry didn't have time to let you all know in advance. Everything a bit rushed - and soggy! - in Hay! But they still managed a good turnout and reception for Nick was pretty good.

"The Verse Time Forgot" and a damn fine version it was too

I will forgive the lovely Mariella for mentioning Roy about 3 times in the intro, because it was funny when she commented on Nick growing up around people like Keith Moon and Robert Plant, but (paraphrasing) "he seems to have turned out well anyway" :D

I thought the guitar sounded a bit out of tune. Good to see Nick on telly again though.

(oh and I did wonder if it was out of tune a bit at the start but I'd had a few out last night so I thought it was just me hehe)

Well I missed Nick but did enjoy Mariella interviewing Kathleen Turner - what a star! The songbook programme on Squeeze was excellent too -and I don't count myself as a Squeeze fan..
