I've changed one of the forum options to make it better about knowing when you've read a forum. Previously, if you entered the forums but didn't read all the posts, after a certain inactivity time it would assume you wanted everything marked read. Now, it takes note of what you've actually looked at. This is more taxing on the server as it means much more database use but I think we can handle it.
The downside is that you might have seen a lot of posts marked as new the first time you visited since the change (Monday morning UK time) but it'll be better after that.
