All being well, Nick, Glenn and Mike Peters will be talking live from Everest on Janice Long's show on Radio 2 at approx 1.45am BST tomorrow morning (Wednesday).

This will be by satellite phone link-up (or yetiphone as I call it!).

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT IT CANNNOT BE GUARANTEED WE WILL GET A GOOD LINK, BUT THAT IS THE NEWS AS IT STANDS.

Obviously I cannot update everyone on any last minute changes, so please keep check as below which is where I will update if necessary.

I've put this news up on the front page for now so that people have no excuse not to have seen it :w00t:

All being well, hopefully I should get a copy of this. I shall have to prop my tired ill eyes open with toothpicks and use all my caffeinating skills... or there is just listen again :blushing:

Thanks Paula. I'm going to try to do an automatic mp3 recording thingy as well (no way am I going to stay awake - it's pub night tonight!). One way or another I hope we'll get it. I'll put it on the front page if we are successful.

My fault for re-editing existing pages on the site... I'll have to see if I can bump the posting dates for stuff like that, but it'll show up on the Recent Posts tracker.

I recorded the show between 1 and 3am but a quick scan has revealed no interview unless it was really brief.

Well I made it to 2:45 before I gave up and there was no sign then - apparently they were having trouble connecting via yak phone! Though considering the food poisoning on the expedition (see the latest blog for the 16th on everestrocks.com), perhaps there was a different type of yakking going on... :puke:
