Nick will be talking on BBC Radio Merseyside on Drivetime With Claire Hamilton this evening, Wednesday. The show goes out between 5 - 7pm and I have been advised that Nick is likely to be on sometime in the 5.30 - 6pm slot (but don't hold me to it!). There is a Listen Again feature for the station. [I hope this doesn't turn into an Everest debacle, only we haven't actually done the pre-record yet...]

On Wednesday November 28, Nick will be one of the guests on Charles Hazlewood's Radio 2 show (10 - 11pm). Back in September Nick went down to Charles's studio in Glastonbury to record the interview and play a few songs. Rather differently for this show, Nick performed an improvised piece with Charles and fellow guest, classical player Craig Ogdon. The producer described it to me as 'a great piece of radio', so should well be worth a listen. Also on the show is music by The Clash and...Bach! Can't say there isn't variety there!

Thanks for the update, Linn. Was this the program where Nick sites his most complex piece on the guitar? (I'm referring to that poll you took on Harperspace where you wanted our thoughts.)

Ooops double thread! :blushing: I should have posted this last night but I had a broadband whoopsie, sorry Linn. It's going up on Myspace now too. I'll add the Hazlewood info!

Should make for excellent radio!

But to clarify, he's not citing his most complex piece. The producer had asked for a song that he could do that best showed off his artistry on the guitar, hence my wondering what fans would consider being such.

Thanks for clarifying, Linn. I knew it was something along those lines.... :)
