Some nice shots there - thanks for sharing them!

The lights last night at Oxford were crap for non-flash photography & we could only take our point n shoot. Plus I wasn't sure what the venue is like about cameras since it's reopened. There was a security geezer in the barriered area in front of the stage so I only took about 4 crap shots at times he'd disappeared. Nobody else seemed to be taking any.

A couple will probably appear in Jane's blog of the gig at www.janetomlinson.com/journal

love

Great pictures, and I especially like the first one. What camera/lens was it? (Nikon presumably, judging from where they are hosted :) )

Number 12 is a good one. Was that before or after the string break?

On the first page of 20 that is.

Moth, the Carling's only ban 'professional' type equipment (their big ban is no re-entry unless you have a pass, which I know annoys a lot of people). Yahl was the security guy and he was my helpful friend for the night (in fact for a Carling the security were all pretty chilled - I even got in to see the excellent Calvin Harris who was playing downstairs!).

Nice Birkenhead piccies!

They were a bit strong with the dry ice weren't they! It looked at times like someone had set a fire going at the back.:)

I loved the end where the lights lowered and Nick turned and walked through the smoke into the black. I think he should have said, 'Tonight folks, I have been...Nick Harper'! Ha ha ha!!!

Hi,

It’s the Nikon D80 SLR with a Nikkor 18 – 135mm lens.

All shots taken without flash and most on 135mm - Aperture Priority Mode - 1/50 sec - F/5.6

Also have some of Vin Garbutt in the Wirral and Ruffus in Liverpool, although I was way back in the theatre for Ruffus.

Cheers

They certainly were!
I thought maybe Roy had paid a visit and lit up a large one
