Sorry to hear that Shaun. I know they have a bit of a twitchy finger these days for copyright stuff and may be paying more attention than usual due to mass posting of "dodgy" materials in recent weeks in some sort of concerted action. Hopefully you have your avi's saved on disk... right?
We're Sorry. The post you have reached has been disconnected! Shaun, I was happy to go through some of your vid posts, but also surprised there would be so many allowed. LZ keeping true to their tradition, and ultimately I can't blame them if the Artists say "no." Up-and-comers usually want the free publicity UNTIL it becomes (or is perceived as) an intrusion. Too bad. I wish there were more consistency with using various copyrighted material in different industries. The Public Domain has been slowly eroding retroactively. I hear OG the cavemen's descendants are suing everyone for using his ORIGINAL drumbeats (unfortunately, we're ALL his descendants!).
Is there anyone out there? Is there any danger of us being similarly treated here if we embed non-Harper stuff vids? Is there some secret room on Earth trawling through millions of sites policing the Web? Does it depend on your Server or get picked up on Google etc? Is USA more assiduous than other countries with FZ/LZ etc. lawyers deciding how we broadcast their messages of love and hope around the planet? Can your Server get pulled if he's allowing other non-PC 'PC' sites? Are their precedents of minor sites getting sued? Strikes me as PS [Police State]. Don't Thank him thank me; and, as an aside, I received a custodial sentence for calling my sister a selfish thief in the street, even though she had systematically robbed my dear mum [RIP] of tens of thousands of pounds. If these latest corrupt politicians don't even face a CPS enquiry I rest my case that the whole system is polluted. Even Social Services.
