I was having a good tidy up today and found something I thought had been long lost. It's a stereo mini-disc recording (which I've just converted to flac): Roy Harper @ Canterbury Fayre - 23rd August 2003 Tracks: 1 Tom Tiddlers Ground 2 Don't You Grieve 3 Pinches of Salt 4 Highway Blues 5 When an Old Cricketer Leaves the Crease 6 Me and My Woman 7 North Country 8 One Man Rock and Roll Band Duration is about 1hr 10 mins, with lots of between-track banter. Roy caught us on the hop by coming on early, and I didn't check the recording level so it's slightly hot. Nevertheless, it sounds lovely and was a great show. I don't really know what to do with the recording but it really deserves to be heard. I'm happy to share this if anyone is interested?
I didn't know if there was a recording of the show, I was just happy and excited when I found it again and wanted to share Dont know if this is allowed here but I put a snippet up just now: http://www.sendspace.com/file/bupvol The full flac version is 392MB If anyone wants a copy just message me  It would be nice to hear your version too Shaun  I only had 1 mini-disc on me which I very much regret as Robert Plant played a blinding set immediately after Roy :m9:

Fantastic! Thank you very much for that. Happy memories of a great festival. I tend to forget how much stuff is on YouTube nowadays... :thumbup1:
That was a great day wasn't it  Maybe the first proper festy I ever went to... and I loved every minute of it
The .mp3 of Tom Tiddler, above, is just a sample, I will keep the original in its entireity. I'm not expecting a trade for this, just making it available for anyone who wanted to listen, and I can redo a .wav version if there is any demand
That's the first time I've seen the names of Roy Harper and TESCO in any kind of conjunction..... Alan
I love the fact that it was only a week after the first Beautiful Days and I can see a T shirt in the crowd.
