    Hi all

Email list respondees keen to do this for another year - so here we go.

Please email me your top albums of the year. They can be re-releases but must have come out in 2015.

If you want to rank them you can and your #1 will get more points than your #2 etc. If you don't rank them I will presume you loved them all equally.

I look forward to hearing from you. Please email jfel2@yahoo.co.uk

Please do not publish your votes until after I have collected them all in (deadline 26th December)

I will try to get the chart out for 31st December.

    Thanks
    James x

Well with 10 days to go it's an exciting Festive Cock 2015 - no one has a big lead and in fact there are about 12 albums up there with a chance. Been a good year. Thanks for all the entries and recommendations so far....

Those of you who have not voted yet (mmmm distinct lack of prog hint hint) don't forget to get your votes in by 26th December. Cheers James x

PS The more I listen to this, the better and better it gets. Not eligible for this year's vote obviously....

Remember voting closes at midnight on Saturday. Most usuals seem to have voted with one or two notable exceptions - so bugger all prog at the top of the chart. Get em in! And happy Xmas all. Love James

Well here it is folks – thanks for all your votes and comments, including the number of last minute entries on Xmas Day/Boxing Day…

Once again some great music here and very eclectic. I had to cut it off somewhere – so we have ended up with a Festive 57.

The top ten were well ahead of everyone else - after that 11-20 got quite a lot of points, then it was pretty close from 21-57 (only a few points between them all).

Number one (who I had never heard before) – won by MILES. Did you all arrange amongst yourselves to vote for him? Haha…

Apologies for all the usual mistakes that I am bound to have made…. I look forward to the debate and controversy. Happy New Year all – love James

That'll teach me to read the rules properly - I thought the closing date was 31 December!

FYI these were my picks, which may or may not have changed the results in the lower reaches and added a bit of prog.

    1. The Beatles - 1+
    2. Jethro Tull - Minstrel in the Gallery (40th Anniversary: (La Grande Edition)
    3. Jethro Tull - Too Old to Rock and Roll, Too Young to Die: The 1976 TV Show and Soundtrack, 5 Original LP Tracks and Unreleased Bonus Songs
    4. Steve Hackett - Access All Areas
    5. David Gilmour - Rattle That Lock

(Some sources say Nov 2014 for Hackett, others say Jan 2015).
