If so - say hello!
no, but 'hello' anyway..!
Btw, how did you derive your 'wobbly' moniker here - or shouldn't I ask?!
There's a beer called wobbly bob. I had a couple of pints of it with my brother in law once. We were decidedly wobbly afterwards! Great beer. My sister has banned us from drinking it now though!
Or he could be this one:
or even THIS one!
Maybe this is something to do with you? This is in St H, just down the road from Kaleidoscope Records which may be familiar to some people on here....
well done crich! i named myself, for the purposes of this here forum, after the beer of the same name. i never actually tried it, but a couple of my old mates used to rave about it. and now it's too late, as i no longer drink. and my names not bob either. so i'm neither wobbly, or bob. except when i'm on here-then i'm both... if you get me...?
thanks for the link, lin! nothing to do with me, honest! i'd say if it was! i'll check it out later!
Bob, living on your own and collecting decorative spoons is nothing to be ashamed of. You're amongst friends here.
hahahaha.... wtf?... never come across that before! sorry to disappoint, but i don't collect anything-not even decorative spoons. i just don't 'get' the whole collecting 'thing'...
'ello and welcome aboard. Nice pic' by the way
I am new to the community, so thought I'd say hi !
My name is Mark, live in Ontario, Canada.
I keep busy running my record shop and a couple of
small record labels.
I'm a long-time Roy fan and had the pleasure of presenting
a show by Roy in Ontario around 1991 I think it was.
He played around here a bit when 'Once' came out.
I look forward to spending some time poking around here.
There seems to be a wealth of information to digest !
Hi Mark! Welcome aboard! I'm sure you will learn a lot on here! In particular have a look at the song club and make sure you get a few of Nick's CD's.
Hi Mark, welcome to the site! Looking forward to hearing more from you.
Been meaning to start using the forum for ages now but never quite got round to it...till now.
When you are here you can actually talk to one another through the CHAT option live but it is under-utilised at the moment. Probably because no one realises who is also on line at the time unless they check the USERS search. If a separate window flashed up telling each other who is on line then it would make it easier to detect a potential live conversation opportunity?
I'm Paul from Dublin, Ireland and I have been a listener/watcher for close to 30 years. I had encountered this site before in a more basic form but have not navigated here for a number of years. Hopefully I can make up for lost time and not say anything too daft.
Why not - several of us engage foot-in-mouth mode with great regularity!
Welcome to both of you, looking forward to hearing what you have to say
