Snowdon [cont..] Okay! Just found the info on the other forum thread! Thanks! Obviously will have to give up smoking ****e, get fit, or get the train up there! Llanberis Pass was when I gave up rock climbing for good... stuck about 300 feet up a narrow steeply sloping rocky shelf on Capel Currig, with no ropes, on my own, seven in the morning, no one knew I was there as they were all still asleep in the tent, when a storm came down the valley and I absolutely froze with fear for God knows how long; all I could envision was my head smashing on the rocks below. To this day I don't really remember how I got off that mountain five hours later in total fog and just grabbing rocks and clumps of grass in a blind sort of panic. So there is definitely truth in those mountains! Don't go unprepared! chrs andi :hurray:
See the other thread, girlfriend - I'm only doing it with backup  We (Big D and I) have a pilgrimage to see My Bloody Valentine in Manchester the weekend after Snowdon so I'd guess I'm not allowed to die until after then, he'd pass up the funeral for the gig and I wouldn't blame him... And do I see potential Peru Rocks dates sent out from the US site? :w00t:
Good girl!! I climbed it with a bad back last year - we take it easy. Have a break at half way cafe for a cup of tea, few songs by Mike and then go up to the top. The top now has a cafe so you can stop for a tea there and go down and have some fun..... Anyone else. Paula I'll email you the details and your in lol xxxx
No my darling - can you email me at katrinac@kcopping.fsnet.co.uk - we would be delighted for you to come xxxx
I have to say Kat, I'm confused by the blurb! How much does one have to raise to be eligiable for the trip up snowdon?
