bigchris Aye lad, I knew you had it in you

I told the guy organising the gig about our cancellation fee and he is going to take that off our ticket price, which is cool ... though the accommodation at the new place is £10 more than the place we cancelled, we don't have to use any taxis, so it might actually work out cheaper in the long run - RESULT !!

..but they still haven't put him up on their website as to the gig happening? Probably last minute thing they haven't got round to... emailed them and asked for directions to nearest cheap campsite... perhaps they got an available field next door?... x

To be honest, I'd be surprised if the pub will actually put it on their website - as it's not really anything to do with them; it's on Harperspace and http://www.chalkboard-events.co.uk/

Andi, it would be really helpful to mostly keep this thread for possible gig announcements and the like - I know I don't start a thread for every gig that comes up anymore, but everyone should totally feel free to go ahead and do so to talk about a single gig like the Basingstoke one...

Paula - can you confirm that Nick is only playing in Croydon on the Friday of this week ? It's just that I received emails from BandsInTown saying he was also playing on the Sunday - I guess that's wrong, but it would be cool if he was, so I could pop down on the way BACK from the SOL Party.

Chris, I tried to get in touch with someone who's involved but no response yet - I can't find anything on the web or anywhere that says he's playing Sunday as well! If I hear any more I'll let you know...

Yeah I think the BandsInTown website is just crap .... they have him listed playing every day of their festival http://www.bandsintown.com/NickHarper which is obviously not true, as he's playing SOL on one of those days !
