Is this what was Fibbers? looking at the map it seems to be that area. Not my favorite venue hopefully a date in West Yorks!!

Don't think so Colin - Fibbers still exists according to this:

No, Colin, this is nothing to do with Fibbers.

The Duchess is a nice little venue and run by Tim who is a big Harpic fan (read his words from The Duchess website below!) and who will be sure to put on a good night on the 13th. I'd recommend going!

    Hi everyone.
    Long time no write.

This York gig is going to kick start a really good year for gigs and trips for me.
Its going to be an all day sesh, maybe even 48 hrs. Lets hope I'm in a fit state to see the gig. I am actually looking forward to seeing Cy Curran as well.

    The possabilities are endless:

    1. York and Putney = Definates.
    Cambridge = Probably.
Aldershot, Spilsby, St Albans = Hopefully.

    2. Off to see the Doves, 10cc and others.

    3. Watch Leeds win the promotion play off finals of League 1.

    4. Watch my adopted team, 'Peterboro' win automatic promotion from
    League 1.

    5. Another 48 hrs on the lash in Spain with little sis.

    6. Am desperately putting off booking my wifes 40th birthday bash to
New York, so it coincides with Nick, stateside.

    7. Convince the wife to let me go skiing with the lads, this year.

Ah well, I live in hope.

Will say hello at the gigs. Adios amigos.

    Cheers, Tony.

If our paths don't cross in York, hope to see you next weekend (as long as you don't have that disgusting Red Bull to hand - ha!).

Last of the 7 dates with Cy Curnin, here at The Duch, so...

    Last night in York....

What a brilliant night... after being thwarted at Bomfest by the madman sound engineer, I've waited a long time for last night!!

Harpic ought to have shorter fingers than he appears to pssess, as that level of playing is beyond anything I've seen before!

I have to confess the music is love marathon was a bit hardcore for me but give me time, I'm a virgin.

looking forward to Huddersfield already and as it's a weekend there will be some thirst management!!!

Thanks to Colin L and Joy for introducing us to Nick.:biggrin::biggrin:
