Oh goody, thinks I, a geographically close enough Nick gig on a Friday night so I can finally take my (by then seventeen year old) daughter to see Nick for the first time. Sadly the venue web site is quite up front about being 18 and over only, so bang goes another opportunity :(

    What time's kick off?

    Hiya

My daughter's at school nearby so I'm grabbing dinner with her first :D - start times would be handy if anyone knows.

Last went to the Corn Exchange 2- 3 years ago... I assume they have worked out the PA by now? Fiasco last time I went

    Current times (subject to adjustment):
    7:30pm Doors
    8:30pm Support
    9.30pm Nick

The PA at the Corn Exchange has had a major overhaul this summer so your previous experience shouldn't be repeated.

All depends on how quickly we eat our dinner... I am a great one for watching support acts, as that is how I have found a lot of the people I listen to including Mr Harper

    Will you be there?

I will say hello, just don't ask me to keep a song list or flog CDs...

Tom Dibb is fab - have seen him a few times before and would happily shell out money to see him again.

Hoping to be there tonight assuming work today goes OK (it's been a bit mad lately). However I haven't got a ticket yet. Would be a bit embarrassing to be turned away at the door :D

I don't see that happening, oh Fearless Leader

Have a great time everyone, the two gigs I've seen this tour have been fab, with a few older songs swapped back in (Shadowlands!) which is always cool

bigchris Aye lad, I knew you had it in you

Yeah I was initally well chuffed to see the setlist for Blackpool did NOT have Love Junkie on it ... but then again ... that song was always a good excuse to nip outside for a cig !!

(oh and is it wrong to admit I was beyond thrilled when he didn't do Love is Music  but then he did THAT in Cardiff too LOL)

Kudos to Nick for another fantastic gig - he was on great form.

And Kudos to the venue - the sound was excellent and the evening was well run. Hats off to you.

Well you've gone from 'least favourite local venue' to 'highly favoured...' at a stroke so credit where it is due!

And Nick Harper is a musical genius. nuff said.
