So was the whole experience funky then? Or are most of you in recovery? Do you think the Big Man reached his jury service today?

    Yes and No !!

I didn't get back until 1:30am last night ... and so getting up early this morning for the jury service was a tad hard work ... but then as I was getting ready, I got a phone call from the court ... saying they don't need me today ... and have put me on call !! Buggers ... if they'd have told me that last week I could have got wasted last night at the gig ... instead of nursing a pint all night !!

I'm sorry to hear of your dichotomy

I'm so sorry to hear this and trying not to laugh out loud! Surely you'll get paid for it if you are on hold and lost a days work anyway? And think of the money you saved last night! Unless you bumped into that Captain Kirk gentleman?

Andi, I think we're all as sober as Chris's judge would have been!

Moth and Trav - hope the pix turned out well. Mine were just bog standard, except for a really brill and funny one I got of Moose!

Hope everyone reached/is reaching their destination safely.

Joy and Andy, if you happen to look in, hope you arrived back in Leics okay. Many thanks from Nick for the LHS donation and see you in 09 again.

Thanks to Kassidy and lovely man (sorry name forgot) for the generous
donation too, and for buying. Hope you can both make Bristol.

Thanks also to Angie, Glenn and Doug for keeping me busy!

After having a long chat with the Bear management, for future Nick Bear gigs and those needing accommodation for the night, if you get in touch with me at the time we can possibly arrange a special Harpic deal.

Travellerman Aye lad, I knew you had it in you

I have just returned to Kent, that's 29 hours door-to-door! :D but it was well worth it.

I had a really nice evening, Nick was masterful, the crowd were great, the people I met (both from the forum and off of it) were all really nice, and my friend who had not heard of Nick before was totally blown away by him :D Hat's off to The Bear too, they were accommodating, helpful and patient.

At the end of the night, I walked away with chords still bouncing around my head, rosy cheeks from wine and mirth and a sense of contentment with the whole evening.

"And we witnessed the live debut of 'Sunshine'... treated to a balls-out rocker with an insistent riff delivered with the sort of passion only inspired by genetics."

    Spot on! :D Sun/Sonshine was a highlight.

And it was nice to meet you too, sorry we didn't get to continue the conversation a little more...next time perhaps.
