As Big Chris suggested, we've started hearing about gigs for 2014 - when they're confirmed on Nick's site, I'll add them to this first post but if anyone could mention ones they find too that'd be great! Full official details when gigs are confirmed, including website and ticket links, on Nick's site: http://www.harperspace.com/nick-harper-tour.html
I'll start with some I've seen online (or in the case of Avebury had confirmed by Nick onstage!): Friday 28 February: Taylor Johns House (aka The Tin Music), Coventry (thanks Geoff T for the tip-off) Saturday 1st March: The Greystones, Sheffield - http://www.mygreystones.co.uk/diary_March.html Friday 21 March: Everyman Theatre, Cheltenham - http://www.everymantheatre.org.uk/m-shows/buzz-buzz-buzz-nick-harper/ Sunday 30 March: Half Moon Putney - playing with Danny Thompson, Darrell Scott, and Jakko Jakszyk (played on Riven, now in King Crimson) - http://www.halfmoon.co.uk/event/915 Friday 16 May: Hurst Green Village Hall, nr. Clitheroe - http://www.ents24.com/near-clitheroe-events/hurst-green-village-hall/nick-harper/3650694 Friday 30 May: Acoustic Festival of Britain (Beer Tent) - http://www.acousticfestival.co.uk/ Sunday 13 July: Avebury Rocks 3, Avebury, Wiltshire NEXT.
Just saw on Faceache that Nick is playing Harefest 2014 (18-20 April) - other artists announced so far include Miles Hunt, Mark Chadwick and Dan Donnelly http://harefieldhall.com/hare-fest/
You were quick getting that up. I went last year and it is not like a usual festival, rooms available in the hotel or camping on the tennis courts and vans in the carpark and along the drive. Breakfasts served on the terrace for the campers, artists mucking in at the bar with everyone else, a Sunday morning unplanned set on the roof from one of the acts and best of all a brilliant beer festival in the reception of the hotel with a selection of at least 10 real ales.
Just call me Speedy Gonzalez - I'm spreading the news, girl I'd love to do this but Easter weekend, end of the hols - making no commitments. Sounds good though.
