I've just published number 23. It has an interview with Simon Taylor, a very old friend of mine, under the influence of beer and curry. It also has a quick extract of some archive audio at the end with me playing bass guitar.

Sharp-eared listeners will notice a reference to an iPhone at the end. Simon's phone caused some audio interference earlier in the interview and he had to turn it off, but I managed to edit all or most of it out so you won't have noticed, hopefully.

    Who is Simon Taylor?

Were you up all night, Paul, working on this? I saw you on Mspace at 3am and then you're here at 6.30! That's dedication.

    Marcie should know him :)
I was tucked up in bed at 3am. My machine gets left on Sunday nights though to do backup and defrag overnight, so it was probably my digsby client polling myspace for status updates that made it look like I was logged in...

I was, however, up at 6.30am! Had an early night last night and subsequently woke up too early.

Just got round to listening to this, I enjoyed it, despite the comparatively low Roy/Nick content.

It's not always easy to keep "on topic" for hour after hour but I do try to keep to topics that are at least vaguely likely to be of interest to a Harper fan. For example, at some point in the future we may talk about concert photography, or more technical info about how a live gig actually is set up from the sound point of view. I'm always interested in suggestions on how to improve the "hit ratio" however!

    Paul.
