I loved Nicks “Wiltshire tale”, absolutely splendid stuff. Whilst listening to my iPod today (I regularly download a cycling podcast from London’s Resonance FM), I listened to a nice programme that included “…Martin Newell, writer, poet, musician and horticultural assassin…” whose poems, at least to this untrained ear, seemed to be in a very similar style to Nicks “Wiltshire Tale”. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_Newell_(musician) Newell writes of the Essex countryside, its towns, villages, rivers, skies, landscapes and coastline, its history and the present day. So, if you enjoyed “Wiltshire Tale”, and have the ability to listen to the podcast I’d recommend it. Podcast: The Bike Show from Resonance FM Episode: 21 May 2007: Poetry on a country ride with Martin Newell I have tried to get the URL but can’t seem to locate it. Enjoy. Stephen
