Somewhere in my cassette collection, I seem to recall that I possess 3 cassettes of Roy performing "Live at the Red Lion, Birmingham". From memory, the 3 cassettes were purchased via mail order through the H.I.S. and cost about 5 pounds each at the time. Does anyone else remember or posses these? I want to update Roy's Wikipedia pages but can't find anything about this on any of the 'usual' discographies.
Trip down memor(ex) lane Saw this thread and remembered I have these tapes. So off I went into the dusty archives where I found them (plus a load more stuff but for a dfferent thread). Sorry to be dredging up such an old thread but I would LOVE to hear these cassettes. Would any of you lucky gents who own copies trust me with them to rip to CD? A copy for me and a copy for you. I have a TEAC deck that is in excellent shape and I use it often. The last cassette I ripped was Born in Captivity 2. Be happy to throw in these CD's as part of the deal if you like. I would cover the cost of postage both ways and any necessary insurance. PM me if interested. I couldn't find these on Dime or any other torrent site and it doesn't look like Mr. Harper has plans to release them soon. This is a big hole in my collection.
