Just spotted that Roy was in session on Marc Riley's 6Music show earlier this evening. Missed it myself as I've indulging in a HarperFest prior to heading off to Manchester tomorrow. Anyway it's here http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b03f2gzs
It was excellent. Roy and Jonathan W on for over two hours. Roy in great rambling form, played January Man, Hallucinating Light and The Enemy. Particularly enjoyed it when Roy got stuck into the details of a Chris Broad century instead of immediately answering the question he had been asked about fist time he and Jonathan met.
Many thanks. After that rather nervous performance on Loose Ends a few weeks ago, this was truly music to the ears. Ringo Starr never sounded so good!
Listened to this on iplayer and thought it was wonderful. Jonathan sounded rather nervous. I was lucky enough to have a chat with him after the RFH gig and he was really lovely and modest, which is quite a feat given his talent - I think Fanfare is absolutely marvellous. He's touring the UK with his band soon apparently and I will definitely be going.
