I thought it'd be a good idea to start a dedicated thread to gather a collection of photos of Roy & Nick, to start the ball rolling here's a couple of Roy & Jimmy Page at Battersea in 1984.
Where to start... Well I have lots of pics (but woefully older ones only!) on that there House of Harper but this is a personal fave to start the ball rolling
Roy singing 'Cricketer' on Test Match Special yesterday http://www.stormcock.net/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=220&stc=1&d=1311497755 Couple more on this link http://www.flickr.com/photos/testmatchspecial/5966995712/in/photostream/
What Roy ISN'T Doing! Shaun, where did you ever find a picture of Roy trying to focus the world's smallest pair of binoculars? He'll need them to read the title of the FST album in my new avatar. Not only am I now a "LOONY," "I Think We're ALL Bozos On This Bus." "Bozos" is The Firesign Theatre's (FST) Fourth Satire Album, released in 1971, features Philip Proctor in the Lead role as "uhh... Clem," and seems a remarkably appropriate link between ROY, FST and me. Phil P. was the unseen voice of "Big Brother" on TV and has done several lesser voices in BIG Box-Office Animated Features ("Ice Age," I think, et al.).

Wild Wild West ROY-deo! I love the quote. I wonder if it was tweaked by the guys in marketing, however... Still modest compared to my opinion of Roy's work! "I reckon..." sounds like a quote from a Cowboy in American film :lurk5: and I suppose that shirt put Roy in the mood!
I know.. I know some various people who don't like Roy and his stuff coz 'he's too intellectual'! Well I wish they'd look that word up; they might frigging learn something! In some interviews he actually sounds like he regards it as an accolade. I would change 'definitely' to 'infinitely' better. No harm in blowing your own trumpet if you know you've got something to blow on. And that's not a throwaway, gratutitous remark / alllusion to drugs btw. The whole of mankind and the predicament involved; neatly caught in the compass of his output of songs, lyrics, life, sense of humour, honesty, ramblings, transparency, perspective, feelings, overtness etc. etc. The guy's an open book which is why we love him. Nothing hidden.Beautiful rambling openmindedness. Bit cynical sometimes, but right on target eh? Andi Andi
Seaside rendezvous Nick at South Shields 5 July 1999. I have some more but being computer illiterate I can't figure out how to reduce their file size to attach them. Any suggestions gratefully received!
Aha... the 'Tank top'! I was forced into one of them as a kid too  ...and isn't that a cheese plant behind? Can any other era be recognised by it's house plants?
